Geocaching

Geocaching is a real life world treasure hunt.  I used the GPS on my tablet to find the geocache (container). It tells you when you are close so when you are less then a metre away you know you've pretty much found it.  They can be big or small the size of a sandwich box or much smaller.  You get clues to help you find them too.

People hide them all over the world anywhere then log them online so people can find them. You write your geocache name (mine is Platypus Downunder) on the logbook ( a small notebook)  in the geocache and also log it online. Sometimes people leave little treasures that you can swap and you can leave in the next geocache you find eg coins, cards anything small and not too expensive. I found 4 geocaches near Grandma's house and 1 in Yorkshire.  It's really good fun.
